Hi, to anyone that doesn’t know me I’m Tony, one of the longest standing personal trainers in Te Awamutu I guess you could say. (Yes, I’m old!) Before owning the gym alongside my wife Haidee, which we have owned for the past 15 years, I was also a trainer here and at other clubs in the area for a little over 6+ years. Previous to that I was in the NZ Army. I have always thrived on being active, through playing league and rugby as a youngster to then going on to cycling and then on to mountain biking which I still love to do just as much today as when I started, just more of the kid friendly tracks these days with my kids in tow.

My true passion for this industry is to be healthy, to live your best life each day, we only get one body, so we need to look after it. So, whether that be through a high intensity class, a Pilates class, a run or a weights session, we need to find something we enjoy which makes us feel good and combine that with good nutrition and find that perfect balance to live a healthy lifestyle.  PH 021466738



Having always been active through a love for running! and later multisport and the gym lead me to become a Personal Trainer. As a busy mum with 3 young children, I understand the challenges and benefits of maintaining fitness during pregnancy, and returning to exercise post pregnancy. Full of energy and enthusiasm Tamara cant stay still for long 😉.

I have been in the Exercise Industry for 16 years either training people of taking group exercise sessions within the Waipa. I enjoy seeing people transform their lives through their commitment, dedication and hard work. My sessions are focused on High Intensity training, Muscle toning, endurance training sessions as well as Pilates one-on-one or group sessions.
